1

Free water review

We pull your town's public water quality report with you on the phone and talk through what's bothering you: scale, spots, taste, smell or dry skin.

2

A clear recommendation

We tell you exactly which system fits your home and why, with one flat price. Private well? We'll arrange a water test and build a system for it.

3

Licensed installation

An independent Massachusetts-licensed plumber installs your system, pulls the permit and walks you through it, usually in about half a day.

FAQ

Common questions

What's included in the $3,000 price?

The water softener with brine tank, a whole-home carbon filter and an under-sink reverse osmosis drinking water system, plus standard installation by a licensed plumber. If your home needs anything beyond a standard install, we'll tell you the price in writing before any work is done.

Why is your price so much lower than the big companies?

Most dealers send a commissioned salesperson into your home and build that cost into the price. We do the consultation over the phone, work with licensed local plumbers, and keep overhead low.

Do I need a softener, a filter, or both?

A softener removes hardness minerals (scale and spots). A carbon filter improves taste and odor and reduces chlorine. Many homes benefit from both, and RO gives you the cleanest drinking water. We'll recommend only what your water needs.

I'm on a private well. Can you help?

Yes. Well water varies a lot, so we'll test your water first and design a system for it, such as iron, manganese or sediment treatment, then quote it.

How long does installation take?

Most installs take about half a day. Your water will be off for a few hours while the plumber connects the system.

What maintenance is involved?

Add softener salt every month or two, and replace filters and the RO membrane on the manufacturer's schedule. We'll show you how, and we can supply replacements.
